SIZE

Approximately 11 1/2” wide x 6” high (When flap is closed)


MATERIALS
2 balls BERROCO SUEDE (50 grs), #3716 Maverick (green) and 1 ball #3718 Holster (rust)

Straight knitting needles, size 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Crochet hook, size 4.00 mm (F)

One 3/4” magnetic closure

Two 7/16” grommets


GAUGE
26 sts = 4”;  23 rows = 4” in Pat St on size 7 needles

TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE



PATTERN STITCH (Multiple of 2 + 3)

Row 1 (RS):  K2, * insert needle from back to front between the next 2 sts and knit the 2nd st, then knit the 1st st slipping both sts off LH needle;  rep from * across, end k1.

Row 2:  P2, * skip next st and p the next st, then p the skipped st slipping both sts off LH needle;  rep from * across, end p1.

Rep these 2 rows for Pat St.


FRONT
With straight needles, using green, cast on 81 sts.  Beg with Row 2, work in Pat St for 31 rows, end on WS.  Bind off on RS in Pat St.


BACK
Work same as for front, working 41 rows, end on WS.

Shape Flap:  Row 1 (RS):  K2 tog, place resulting st back onto LH needle and k2 tog once more, k1, work in pat as established across – 79 sts.

Row 2:  P2 tog, place resulting st back on LH needle and p2 tog once more, p1, work in pat as established across – 77 sts.  Rep these 2 rows 13 times more, end on WS – 25 sts.  Bind off on RS in Pat St without decreasing.


FINISHING
Place back and front tog with WS facing.  Using crochet hook and brown, beg at top left corner of front, working through both layers, work in sc down left side, across bottom and up right side.  Work across top of single layer of front, join with a sl st in beginning sc.  Turn work so that RS of flap is facing you and work in sc around flap, join with a sl st in sc at top right corner.  Working from left to right, work 1 Reverse sc in each sc just worked, join with a sl st in beginning sc.  Fasten off.  Sew one half of magnetic closure to WS of flap and the other half to RS of front of bag.  Following directions on package, insert one grommet in right lower corner of flap and the second through both layers of right upper corner of bag (See photo).

Medallion:  With crochet hook and brown, ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring.  Work 10 sc in ring, join with a sl st in first sc.

Rnd 1:  With green, * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 15 sc.

Rnd 2:  With brown, * 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 20 sc.

Rnd 3:  With brown, rep Rnd 2, end 2 sc in sl st of previous rnd, join with a sl st in first sc – 28 sc.

Rnd 4:  * Sc in next sc with brown, sc in next sc with green, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 28 sc.

Rnd 5:  * Sc in next sc with brown, 2 sc in next sc with green, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 42 sc.

Rnd 6:  With green, * 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 56 sc.

Rnds 7 and 8:  With brown, work 1 sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in first sc – 56 sc.

Rnd 9:  * Sc in next 2 sc with brown, 2 sc in next sc with green, rep from * around, end 2 sc in sl st of previous rnd with green, join with a sl st in first sc – 76 sc.

Rnd 10:  * Sc in next 2 sc with brown, sc in next 2 sc with green, rep from * around, join with a sl st in first sc – 76 sc.

Rnds 11 and 12:  With brown, work 1 sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in first sc – 76 sc.

Rnd 13:  With brown working from left to right, work 1 Reverse sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in first sc.  Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a long tail.  Using tail, sew medallion to RS of flap as in photo.

Strap:  With crochet hook, using brown, ch 81.  Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch to last ch;  work 3 sc in last ch, turn piece and work 1 sc in each st of foundation ch to beg, working 2 sc in last st.  Join with a sl st in first sc.  Working from left to right, work 1 Reverse sc in eahc sc around, join with a sl st in first sc.  Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a long tail.  Thread strap through both grommets on bag and flap and sew ends tog.

瓣形状： 行 1 （RS）： K2 为主、 地方回来到 LH 的针造成 st 和 k2 为主的一次更多，k1、 帕特在工作，如建立全国 — — 79 sts。


第 2 行： P2 tog，造成后背 LH 针和 p2 tog 再一次，p1，st 的地方工作在帕特随着内 — — 77 建立 sts。代表这些 2 行 13 倍多，结束对 WS — — 25 sts。绑定 RS 在帕特 St 而不降低。



整理

地方背和前台 tog 与 WS 面对。使用钩针和棕色，乞求在前面，通过两个图层的左上角，工作在左下侧的 sc 横跨底部和右侧。顶部单层前面的工作，一起开始链转工作以便 RS 的皮瓣面对你的 sl st 和周围皮瓣供应链中的工作，一起在右上角的供应链中的 sl st。从左到右，只是每个供应链工作 1 逆向供应链的工作工作，一起开始链扣掉的 sl st。缝补一件半磁封闭，到 WS 皮瓣和另一半给 RS 的前面的包。按照包装上的指导，在右下角的瓣和第二通两层袋 （见图） 的右上角中插入一个垫圈。
