Comments: Dear Editor, I am Mandy, a Chinese knitter and reader of your magazine. I have a question about Brooke Nico's project "Mulberry Cascade" in Knitter's Magazine K104. The name of the project is "Mulberry Cascade", and I just want to know, what does it mean by the word "mulberry"? Does "mulberry" refer to the silk content in the yarn, or to the pattern of cascading mulberry leaves? Or, as one of my fellow-knitters believes, the phrase "Mulberry Cascade" can't be seperated, and it refers to a kind of flower named "mulberry cascade", which is very common in the U.S.? My friend Moon has contact Brooke Nico, the designer of "Mulberry Cascade", about the same question, and Brooke replied that your magazine named the design, she didn't. So she suggest us to contact you about the question. Thanks, Mandy

the name is just something i made up...using mulberry for the diet of the silkworm, and cascade for the leaf pattern...nothing more complicated than that...i really am not that clever...
Rick
